Essential Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver AI solutions.
• Customize and tailor existing generative AI technologies such as ChatGPT and Copilot.
• Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models.
• Analyze and extract insights from large data sets.
• Research and stay up to date on the latest trends in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
• Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Collect, organize, and present progress to team leadership and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Two or more years of experience in applying AI to practical and comprehensive technology solutions as an AI engineer or similar role.
• Proven experience working in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science.
• Strong mathematical and statistical background.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced work environment.
• Knowledge of basic algorithms, object-oriented and functional design principles, and best-practice patterns.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, crucial for algorithm development and data analysis.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both technical teams and business stakeholders to translate AI capabilities into business value.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to collaborate cross-functionally with different teams.
• Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical business colleagues.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines.

Technical Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with machine learning, deep learning, LLM, and NLP.
• Strong understanding of various machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, and neural networks.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras is a plus.
• Experience working with Microsoft Copilot.
• Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience in REST API development, NoSQL database design, and RDBMS design and optimizations.

Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Experience in customizing AI solutions such as ChatGPT and Copilot.
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications with LangChain.
• Strong experience working directly with customers & ability to brainstorm concepts.
• Strong work ethic, critical thinker.
• Specific experience in the intermodal or transportation industries.
